With a view to studying abroad, I decided to study the basics carefully for one year in the Basic English Language Training Course to broaden my career path. I had no idea how to study until high school, and the \"study counseling\" class in the English Basic Training Course helped me out of my slump. A full-time teacher kindly counseled me on how to study English, and advised me that \"speaking is the way to go for you, Tamaki-san. After that, I started going to ECL every day and interacting with students from different countries. I was able to learn about the cultural differences between different countries, and the best thing of all was that I realized that the shortcut to improving my English was to enjoy conversation without fear of making mistakes. I was able to relax and talk back and forth with the foreign teachers in class, and I visited VISTA every day to make small talk with the staff in English. The improvement in her speaking ability led to an increase in her overall English proficiency, and her TOEIC\u00ae score surpassed 500, more than double the score at the time of her enrollment. I gained a great deal of confidence that \"I can do it if I try!\" I was able to gain a great deal of confidence.<br>After graduating, she re-enrolled in the Spanish course in the Department of Asian\/European Languages because she found it so much fun to learn the language. However, I was not an avid student, and in my third year of high school, I failed the third grade of the English Proficiency Test, which is considered to be the level required to graduate from junior high school, and I felt a sense of crisis. Still, I had a clear goal of improving my English skills, so I applied to Kanda Institute of Languages because I knew that if I enrolled in the school, they would \"do something about it. I envisioned a path that would allow me to carefully relearn English in the Basic English Training Course, then move on to the English Major Course, and then transfer to a university.<br>After entering the school, I found myself completing many assignments, and I found that my study habits had taken root. I received guidance on how to study at the \"study counseling\" session, and I found a method that I could continue to study without difficulty. I had heard that the amount of study was very heavy, but from my point of view, it was a good thing. My understanding of grammar, which I was particularly anxious about, deepened, and the holes I had left in junior high and high school were steadily filled in. In addition, I voluntarily worked on improving my vocabulary, and my TOEIC\u00ae score, which was 235, soared to 685. As my English skills improved, I grew to the point where I could openly converse with anyone, including foreign teachers. I actively visited ECL, where I could interact with international students, and enjoyed daily conversations in English. In April 2023, I achieved my dream of transferring to a university. The biggest reason why I was able to realize my original plan was that I was able to learn English from the very basics.
